Practice overview: Dr. Levine's practice is dedicated to treating all foot problems from simple to complex. All ages are seen. Patients are treated in the office setting. The practice philosophy is conservative whenever possible. Sports injuries of the foot and ankle are commonly treated and custom orthotics can be fabricated or prescribed .
Dr. Jay Levine is the former Chief of Podiatric Surgery , Director of the Wound and Hyperbaric Institute and Diabetic Limb Preservation Program at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY . He has been a clinical instructor at Mt Sinai Medical Center and the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and has lectured extensively on The Diabetic Foot. Dr. Levine is an inventor, studying foot injury prevention during sports, and holds 2 patents for athletic shoes. Prior to private practice, Dr. Levine completed a 2 Year Residency in Medicine and Surgery of the Foot in New York City.. He has over 25 years of experience diagnosing and treating common, difficult and unique conditions affecting the foot. He is currently Board Certified in Foot Surgery and is a Fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
