Brook Lopez of the Nets sought reconstructive foot surgery last month. Specifically, Lopez went through multiple procedures on his foot to fix his fifth metatarsal. Lopez did not start rehab yet but believes the next step is to create special shoes and sneakers to make him able to walk normally. “They're trying to put more pressure on the inside of my foot,'' Lopez said. ""Essentially, what they did was lower the arch. It will be interesting to learn to walk differently for the first time. I'm going to be falling on my face more than I do already,'' said Lopez.
